University of East London Design Students Start Work On Outdoor Classroom

A group of UEL design students visited the reserve this week, as part of a 5 week project to transform the space on the lower path into a welcoming outdoor classroom and activity hub.

Senior lecturer Richard was on hand, as the students trudged through thick mud to record measurements of the area, gather information about the site and it’s history and discuss potential areas for ideas.

Despite the foul weather, the students were greatly enthused by the site, and we are really looking forward to seeing the designs they come up with!

Updates on their progress will be posted weekly :)
